- Collected Rs. 3,08,000 to purchase 175 pulsoximeter and thermometers. They were distributed in North Karnataka and Telangana area
Year 2020 was the pandemic year with no significant outdoor activities, however we the trustees of the trust collected funds and supported two girl students to join medical college:
In 2019, we conducted a mega event to plant more than 600 saplings in and around the schools and entire thanda. This was an enthusiastic program where many dignitaries participated.
In 2017, sports, cultural events were supported where our thanda kids outshined in most of the sports events and bags many medals and awards
World Environment day celebration, planting around 600 saplings around the entire thanda (hamlet).
In 2015, we revamped the school with outdoor play area with swings, slides, merry go round for the tots and entire village kids. This was an effort to prevent thanda kids from being attracted to private schools where learning would be same but for additional premium. (Cost: Rs.1,10,000)

In 2013, we got the green board for the entire classrooms which would further improve the learning opportunities (Rs. 8000)
As years went by, Richa was born in 2012 and hence the social service activities doubled too. public announcement system was donated so that the kids can enjoy the social and cultural activities much better (Rs. 15000)
In 2011, desktop computer was bought to give an exposure to the rural kids about the new technology taking over our generations (Rs. 12,000)
In 2010, we got the wooden benches and desks for the classrooms (Rs. 30,000)
In the year 2009, we donated for the maintenance of the school property (Rs. 5000)
October 1, 2008 was the first year birthday of Ronith and I felt that my expenditure towards his birthday celebration should be meaningful and hence started our support for rural education. Our ancestral village thanda school was the obvious choice. We bought them complete set of steel dinner plates, cups, water container which was worth approx Rs. 25,000. This was distributed to the school kids and the joy on their face was priceless!
